Meet My Team

SHWETA AGGARWAL created us!

Indian by origin and having grown up in Japan, I now live in England with my family. My upbringing has been that of a global citizen. My mission is for all children not just to be reading well, but to be well read.

I love ‘fest-travel’- visiting countries during their festival celebrations! I believe festivals evoke the best of any culture. Colour, noise, excitement, family, laughter – all give great insight into a particular culture and are perfect ingredients for children’s stories with a universal appeal. So I created Dev and Ollie to take children on magical festival adventures around the world whilst enjoying a bedtime story!

Researching so many festivals, my travel bug has multiplied ten times! Some of the festivals are now included in my bucket list (Tomatina Festival in Spain and Snow & Ice Festival in China)!

My favourite part about being an author is engaging with children directly at school and library visits.

One last thing – I love dancing too. I usually have to be dragged off the dance floor at the end of a party!

SOMNATH CHATTERJEE brings our stories alive.

An illustrator is all I’ve ever wanted to be since the age of 3 when my very first painting got selected for my school magazine! Throughout school and college, art was my favourite subject. After graduating from college, it only felt natural to run art classes and it was then that I started enjoying illustrating for children’s books.

In 2009, I founded Dot Pixel, a professional graphics design and illustration company. Nothing gives me more pleasure than bringing characters to life with animation and storyboarding.

Dev and Ollie are the 550th illustration in my portfolio. I love their characteristics so much I actually dreamt about them once!!

A little secret about me – I brush my moustache thrice a day!

GRAHAM WHITLOCK makes our stories just right.

I run DreamArts, which gives kids living in inner London the chance to express themselves through arts projects and have fun.  I have two kids (who taught me how to ride a bike!) and my professional writing credits include the script and lyrics for a new musical being developed by Hackney Empire based on the Ealing Studios comedy Passport to Pimlico.

RAIMU ITFUM tells the world about us.

Hi! My name is Rai. I am a creative artist and I am here to share/tell (you can choose which word suits better) about Dev and Ollie’s adventures. As an artist I work in several different industries from design to performance as well as marketing.

My marketing experience consists of working for various performing arts companies and advertising projects from live events to corporate campaigns. The most fun part of my job is coming up with creative content as well as using social media and other similar platforms to create a conversation point for a brand and creating that relationship with the audience and the brand itself.

Oh and did I forget to mention, I’m a big kid myself and can never sit still!
